The broadcast was telecast when the Bolton FC's Fabrice Muamba, a midfielder for Bolton FC, fell ill with cardiac arrest on the pitch. On that night, she appeared in every major UK news channel. In May 2012, Lowe became the first woman in UK history to host the FA Cup Final - a live stream lasting six hours starting from Wembley Stadium. Lowe was a reporter and host on behalf of Setanta Sports from 2007-2009, which was the time she supervised their groundbreaking reportage of the Football Conference. She cohosted Football Matters Setanta the Premier League's Studio show.
