Anna Paquin has been an actress in Canada as well as New Zealand for over a decade. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington however was born and bred in Winnipeg began her acting career on screen in The Piano. At age 11 she was an infant Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. She portrayed her character groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
