Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. She was born Patsy McClenny on February 3, 1950. She rose to prominence in the 70s, and the early 80s due to her roles on a variety of television shows, where she was portrayed as an attractive actress. Fairchild started her acting career between 1973 and 1977 during the run of CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. Fairchild started her career in 1973, playing Jennifer Pace on CBS's daytime soap show Search for Tomorrow. She played Jenna Wade for the first time in the year 1978. Following that she was offered the lead part on the network's Flamingo Road. (For this show, she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nominated Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama. She co-starred on ABC's shortlived show, a primetime comedy Paper Dolls. Then, from 1985-1986 she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. She serves as a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
